Ate here with friends tonight, gorging ourselves on the omakase or chef’s choice. Which turned out to be three salads (cabbage, radish and potato), three small appetizers, 8 skewers each of grilled meat (including chicken liver, chicken skin, chicken neck and a few other tasty things, including some veggie I’m unsure of), spare ribs (with another salad), grilled rice balls in shiso (perilla) leaves, sesame pudding (omg good) and jasmine tea. Oh, and grilled fava beans on the house, since they told us the wrong price at first. I need to not come back here for a while or I’ll get stuck behind the table.
And then we went for coffee…. Which is why I’m still up posting at this hour!
