Hakata Hallowe’en

Hallowe’en season started here in late August, with the first influx of orange, black and purple (yes, purple — a fine addition to the holiday mood, I think) goods into the 100 yen stores, and took off from there like, well, a bat out of hell, of course. With the main event today, and Christmas season due to start tomorrow, here’s a quick look at some of the cute decorations I ran into while shopping at Hakata station this past weekend.
